Hello All
Happy Friday
Romans 13: 8 Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
9 For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
10 Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
We had our dress rehearsal for Walk The Talk Signs and Synchronicity and it is going to be an AMAZING and AWESOME evening!!! The speakers and their talks are fantastic! It will be great fun for all who attend!!! And who doesn’t need to be Lifted Up right now?
The Link to order tickets is below.
I am very honored to have been selected to be one of 6 speakers for this wonderful event!!! Please join us, everyone will have a wonderfully synchronistic and magical time . . . more to come next week!
The information below is from the Walk The Talk website.
Coming June 27th, 2018, we present the topic of Signs & Synchronicity. What are signs and synchronicities? We all have had signs telling us what to do or not to do. These signs can come in simple ways, or through complex messages. Synchronicities happen the same way. For instance, just as we think of someone or something we see them or that happens! Goosebumps and synchronicities happen all the time. Signs & Synchronicity always work together! Our six speakers will share their messages and guidance on how to follow your signs and experience your synchronicities!
Doors are at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 7:45 pm. We also have local vendors on site with products that follow our mission of well-being. Buy now and get a great seat. Tickets are $15.00, and $5 for children under 11. Seats are reserved.
With this talk, we move outside The Vogue and it will be presented at the Basile Theatre in the historic Athenaeum, downtown Indianapolis. Our events always include live music, 6 fabulous storytellers, confetti, interactiveness, a Motivational Balloon drop (inside each balloon is a motivational phrase on topic), a cool light show, and lots of takeaways on topic!
Thanks for helping us create an epic shift, one person at a time.
And that person is you!

One of my pet peeves (and that is putting it very nicely) is for someone to take a tiny section of words out of the Bible, or ANY sacred scripture, to justify hurting children. To me that is EVIL. Jeff Sessions did just that this week and to say I am sickened and heartbroken by it and him and the actions of my government is a major understatement!!!
The United Methodist Church Mr. Sessions is a member of is now giving him Bible sessions – and not in a very nice way. To me it is one of the very few positive notes.
Pauls Letter to Rome – ‘Romans’ – was written by Paul around 57 AD because of his intention to meet those in Rome who were building up the Christian faith and church in Rome. He was writing to them concerning the guidelines Paul felt one should follow to live a good Christian life.
Sessions pulled three sentences out of all of Romans. Romans 13 begins with Paul writing about what the proper christian attitude toward taxes being paid and suggesting that they please don’t kill the tax collectors who are just doing the business of the government. Session’s sinful twisting of those few sentences into justification for taking children from their parents is EVIL!
Using the Bible to justify evil acts has been going on since it’s first writings of the Old Testament. But understanding the Bible – that is very different. When you more fully understand the Bible you would never use a few lines to justify abusing children. And that is also true of most sacred scriptures from other cultures and beliefs.
Understanding the Bible is not done a verse at a time but rather in reading and studying all the verses of any particular letter, gospel or book. Can you imagine my writing you a three page letter and you only reading three sentences out of it and then saying you understood all of my letter to you?
Romans 13 is about Christianity being practiced LOVINGLY in the world. Romans’ 12, the chapter before, is about Christian righteousness practiced within the Christian church itself. Romans 14 is about the strong walking a Christian walk by not judging but rather protecting, helping, sheltering the weak!!!
The few sentences Jeff Sessions and our current administration used to justify one of the darkest moments of our current history IS BOOKENDED by paragraphs instructing the Christians in Rome to love one another as Christ loves and how the strong should help and not judge the weak. And all of Romans 13 is about walking the right CHRISTIAN WALK and “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF”
But you judge for yourself . . .
Romans 12
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. 3 Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. 6 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. 9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! 17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. 19Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD . 20 Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” 21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Romans 13
1 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience. 6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority. 8 Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. 9 For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. 11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. 13 Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
Nancy Pelosi has been known to use scripture to argue about Global warming. She wasn’t correct either!
In 2008, Pelosi said in her Earth Day press release, “The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.'” She has quoted the same passage on several other occasions. But several experts say the passage does not exist and does not appear to be a paraphrase of something similar. Claude Mariottini, professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theologial Seminary, calls it “fictional,” saying, “It is not in the Bible. There is nothing that even approximates that.”
Both Sessions and Pelosi, and many others in government especially, need Bible sessions if they are going to use it as justification for anything. It is literally wrong to quote incorrectly from Bible. Whether you are fighting for environmental protection or justifying separating families. Especially when there are sooooo many truthful ways to honor sacred scripture with honesty, integrity and most of all WITH LOVE!
Every Grain of Sand
by Bob Dylan
In the time of my confession, in the hour of my deepest need
When the pool of tears beneath my feet flood every newborn seed
There’s a dying voice within me reaching out somewhere
Toiling in the danger and in the morals of despair.
Don’t have the inclination to look back on any mistake
Like Cain, I now behold this chain of events that I must break
In the fury of the moment I can see the master’s hand
In every leaf that trembles, in every grain of sand.
Oh, the flowers of indulgence and the weeds of yesteryear
Like criminals, they have choked the breath of conscience and good cheer
The sun beat down upon the steps of time to light the way
To ease the pain of idleness and the memory of decay.
I gaze into the doorway of temptation’s angry flame
And every time I pass that way I always hear my name
Then onward in my journey I come to understand
That every hair is numbered like every grain of sand.
I have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night
In the violence of a summer’s dream, in the chill of a wintry light
In the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space
In the broken mirror of innocence on each forgotten face.
I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea
Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me
I am hanging in the balance of the reality of man
Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand.

Next Meeting Friday – July 6th, at 6:30
Many in our world are aware and know that although their loved one’s Spirit has passed into Heaven the sacred and eternal communications and connections with their loved ones still continue with them after death.
The Griffin Grief Group’s mission is to help everyone learn to strengthen, use and honor the many and varied Sacred Messages received from loved ones in Spirit. Over time, these sacred messages and communications help ease grief through the eternal bonds of God’s Love and Grace.
Whether you have lost your parent or child, spouse or friend, the loss and grief can feel like it will consume your heart. The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.
Our group meets the First Friday’s of every month at Inner Path,
the cost is $15
See additional info at www.myinnerpath.com. Come early as seating is limited.
