Humanity has worshiped the sun and moon since our beginnings. We have warmed ourselves, sunbathed to distraction and often been changed from feeling sad to feeling happy simply by the rays of sunshine around us. We have gazed at, howled below and dreamt our dreams in the soft glow of the evening moon.
Here comes the sun . . . and warm summer days.
The sun symbol is found in all cultures throughout history. Considered by most peoples as a cosmic power, it’s not surprising we see the sun emblazoned upon countless artifacts and writings.
Ancient Chinese culture recognized the sun as the Great Male Principle – the ultimate Yang. These symbolically appreciative people also personified the sun as a cosmic eye viewing out upon its dominion during the day.
The sun resonates with male energy in most cultures. However, Celtic perspective places feminine power within the sun’s rays. Likewise, ancient African, Japanese, Germanic, and some Native American tribes all hold the sun as a feminine energy.
Alchemically, the sun is sol and is esoterically symbolic of the mind or intellect. Gold is considered the material of the sun in outwardly symbolic practices of alchemy.
According to the teachings of many of the Native American tribes in central North America, Grandfather Sun, the “one who brings morning”, gives light and warmth to his children every day. The first of all the mothers, Grandmother Moon, lives in the heavens near her daughter, Mother Earth. From there, Grandmother Moon keeps watch over her children, gently leading them through the night. Mother Earth nourishes and cares for all her children in the plant, animal, and human worlds; and just as life comes from Mother Earth, it returns to her, completing the circle of life. Together, Mother Earth and Grandfather Sun provide the gift of life to all.
Worshiped widely throughout Egypt for centuries, Ra was their principal sun god. Ra, also know as Re, was the almost universally-worshiped king of the gods and father of all creation. A sun god, he was said to command the chariot that rode across the sky during the day. As a king, he was the patron of the pharaohs. He was considered the only god, apart from Osiris who was said to be not of the earth. Ra, it was said, was an aging god, still powerful, but too old to deal with his children any longer, so he went exclusively to the sky to watch over the world.
In Christianity the sun is the house of Archangel Michael, and is also a symbol of the Christ, and is used to represent Christ-like attributes.
We see the sun symbolism in association with eyes or vision as the sun is the eye of Zeus in Greek mythology. Likewise, in Hindu mythology the sun is the eye of Varuna, and is also considered the “divine rejuvenator.”
Animals can also be considered as sun symbols. For example, the eagle was a symbol of the sun rising in its glory and power over their cities. The tiger in some cultures is thought to symbolize the sun in its setting aspect.
It is Godsign to me that we have the term ‘Son’ that sounds exactly like ‘Sun’. Our sons and daughters on earth are very precious to us indeed and can be the ‘light’ of our lives. I also do not believe or feel that it is mere ‘coincidence’ that millions call Jesus The Son of Man. He is also referred to as the Son of God. His teachings and life lived are praised, worshiped and studied as one of the most influential and Sacred of master teachers, Wayshowers and Divine Prophets. He shined and still shines a sacred Light, as do all the master teachers of the Sacred.
Whether you worship our Sun, Grandfather Sun, the Egyptian god Ra or give worship and praise to Christ the Son please know they all can bring you Sacred Light, great joy, profound warmth, contemplative pleasure and if you add in enough sunscreen, help you keep a healthy body and smiling Spirit.

Many in our world are aware and know that although their loved one’s Spirit has passed into Heaven the sacred and eternal communications and connections with their loved ones still continue with them after death.
The Griffin Grief Group’s mission is to help everyone learn to strengthen, use and honor the many and varied Sacred Messages received from loved ones in Spirit. Over time, these sacred messages and communications help ease grief through the eternal bonds of God’s Love and Grace.
Whether you have lost your parent or child, spouse or friend, the loss and grief can feel like it will consume your heart. The Griffin Grief Groups are here to help you connect through Spirit with your loved one in Spirit. You will meet others who?understand deep grief from their own experiences. Sharing the eternal Connection we all are capable of knowing, seeing and using in our daily life from our loved ones in Heaven allows each of us to realize how deep and everlasting their love is for us in God’s eternal Home and helps lessen grief.

GET RID OF GUNS. If anyone is needing help getting rid of a gun, please let me know. I am happy to help get it or you or both to the nearest police station. They will take any guns and destroy them. I have a number of police officer friends that can also assist us.
And the Children shall lead them . . .
